Langen, Germany. 22 August, 2019. Socionext Europe GmbH, a leading global designer and developer of System-on-Chips is pleased to announce that it has successfully achieved ISO/IEC27001:13 certification.
The ISO/IEC27001:13 certification has been awarded for Socionext’s realization of an Information Security Management System. An external audit took place that verified the management systems fulfilled the standards in design and development of integrated circuits and software. Since founding, Socionext has also achieved ISO9001 certification.
Socionext’s SoCs can be found in a range of different products in a variety of markets and industries which makes it imperative that every product meets the quality, cost and delivery criteria of customers. “Being a fabless company, we ensure that our manufacturing partners also have the same Quality Mindset as ourselves and work closely with them thus ensuring optimum quality levels” explained Gaetano Origlio, Manager QA.
These certifications are testament to Socionext’s commitment to both customers and suppliers and demonstrates their ability to not only ensure quality products but also that all information is contained within a secure environment.
